Returns and Refunds

Thank you for purchasing one of our pieces of jewellery which has been individually handmade with every care and attention and built to last. We hope you will be happy with your jewellery piece.

In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act, if you are not happy with your purchase, please contact us at phoebe@fionabuchananjewellery.com via email within 14 days of receiving your item and we will get back to you to see how we can help. Unfortunately we regret we will be unable to accept returns on earrings due to health and safety reasons.   Any refunds or exchanges are at the discretion of Fiona Buchanan Jewellery.

Of course if the item is deemed to be faulty on arrival or within 60 days of purchase, we will offer a free repair.  Items will still be repaired after the 60 day period but at the cost to the client which will be informed before work begins.  Postage after that 60 day period will also be paid for by the client.

Please take care of your jewellery and periodically check over the claws or settings of your rings for loose or worn metal.  Daily wear and tear is a normal occurrence and expected.  BEWARE of chemicals in swimming pools, day to day cleaning products, wearing items for carpentry, gardening, DIY, cooking or heat which can all affect the quality of the metals and gemstones.  Fiona Buchanan Jewellery reserves the right to refuse work on items which have been subjected to hard wear, excessive strain, damage to gemstones, accident, neglect or misuse.

Please make sure you have suitable insurance to cover loss or accidental damage and note that bespoke or custom items are non-exchangeable nor refundable unless deemed faulty by Fiona Buchanan Jewellery. If you have changed your mind about an order and work has already commenced, a fee may be incurred.  We are a small business so if you have any queries please do not hesitate to email us at phoebe@fionabuchananjewellery.com

 

All return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer for returns and exchanges, unless Fiona Buchanan Jewellery deems the product to be faulty or damaged within the 60 day period.   Any items returned without prior notice in writing will not be accepted.
